Our People
Bruce Fairbairn. MRICS, FCIOB (Principal at Plan-It)
Born in Edinburgh in 1958, Bruce has raised his family whilst being self employed most of his working life. He holds a diploma from the RICS of which he is a member and the CIOB of which he is a Fellow. Bruce is also a member of the Association of project safety (APS). Bruce sits on the Committee of the Federation of Small Business in West Lothian where he will take the Chair this year and is involved with a local chartity WL Financial Inclusion Network FIN.
He counts his family as his greatest achievement, he and his wife will celebrate 31 years of marriage this year (2011) they have three children and three grand children. They enjoy the odd holiday and have travelled in Europe, Canada, America, Central America, Russia, The Baltic Capitals and the jungles of the Amazon and South Africa.. They enjoy caravan weekends and from time to time touring on their Harley Davidson Road King.

Colin Fairbairn. Assistant Project Manager
Colin joined Plan-It in September 2008 and now holds a National Certificate in the Built Environment, he is now studying for his HNC at Telford College. Colin came from the Motor Industry having qualified as an Auto Technician with Toyota. He now assists with the smooth tuning of construction projects where his responsibilities include liaising with clients and contractors during site works and ensuring all concerned are up to date with the progress of each project.
Colin continues to have an interest in auto repairs, mini moto reconstruction and motor bikes. He has recently obtained his full motor cycle licence.
